Connect, Collect and Protect
Steve Irwin was immediately recognisable around the world in his trademark khaki uniform - it was his go anywhere, signature style and he wore it with pride. From red carpets to croc rescues, Steve and his khakis always took centre stage!
Khaki Day will again feature as a major fundraising event with awesome prizes up for grabs for the group and the individual who raise the most funds.
ONE man can make a difference. YOU can make a difference. Get together with your school friends, work colleagues, sporting club or register as an individual and help spread Steve’s conservation message.
The individual who raises the most funds will enjoy a week on the Sunshine Coast, behind the scenes tour of Australia Zoo and an opportunity to meet Terri and Bindi.
The second category is open to groups, schools and corporate organisations. The winning group that raises the most funds will receive a personal visit from Terri and Bindi.
All proceeds raised from Khaki Day will go to Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors Worldwide.

Backyard Campout is a great way to spend valuable time with your family as well as raising money for a fantastic cause. It doesn’t matter what sort of backyard you have - you can still camp-out. Hang a hammock on your veranda, pitch a tent in the backyard, ask your class and school to camp out on the oval. Camp on your own. Camp with family. Camp with friends. Just get out there and camp like Steve did and help us connect people with their environment, collect money and help Wildlife Warriors protect wildlife and habitat.
