Shelley Craft is one of Australia’s most popular television presenters.
Shelley is the host of Channel Nine’s Australia’s Funniest Home Videos as well as co-host of ratings smashing Channel Nine series The Block, her second role in the home improvement category following on from her role as co-host of hit renovation series, Domestic Blitz.
Shelley started her television career with a work experience stint in Brisbane which led to a job offer as a production assistant on a local program before presenting Seven’s children’s program, Saturday Disney, a few months later. She remained with Saturday Disney for five years before joining The Great Outdoors in 2001, one of the most sought after roles in television and an opportunity that took her travelling around the world.
Going from strength to strength, Shelley was soon poached by the Nine Network in January 2008 to take over the reins of the long-running family television favourite, Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, now in its 24th year.
More than just a talented presenter, Shelley has recently revealed a few more hidden talents of hers fronting the Byron based children's entertainment band ANIMALS ROCK with founder and ex pro surfer Beau Young. The band along with its animal band mates is set to rock and opens kids’ eyes and ears up to the big wide world of animals. Shelley is an ambassador for the NBCF and Assist-A-Sister and an advocate for Lifeline as well as lending her support to Planet Ark, National Tree Day, Jeans for Genes Day, The Smith Family and The Fred Hollows Foundation. She has a strong affiliation with these organisations and believes there is always more we can do.
Shelley is a superior communicator, widely acknowledged as one of Australia’s most accomplished MCs and interviewers.
