About the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner
The Steve Irwin Gala Dinner celebrates the life and legacy of the original Wildlife Warrior - Steve Irwin. All proceeds from this fundraising dinner goes to Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors, to continue the conservation work Steve was so passionate about.
In 2013, the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner was celebrated in style at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. With 340 guests attending, all wearing a touch of khaki, over $100,000 was raised for wildlife conservation!
Our goal in 2014 is to continue to keep Steve's dream alive; to celebrate the life of the one and only Crocodile Hunter and to raise vital funds for Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors.
The Steve Irwin Gala Dinner will be held on Saturday 22 November 2014 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. This will be a ripper of an event and we hope to see you there as we KHAKI IT together!!
Khaki is not just a colour. It's an attitude!

Stacey has garnered an impressive list of achievements since graduating from Queensland Agricultural College in 1983. Fresh from uni, Stacey landed her dream job with the Queensland Department of Environment as a ranger working at some of Queensland's most popular National Parks.
In 1987 she secured her first TV role as an environment presenter on the long running, Logie award winning children's program Wombat. Since then she has appeared consistently on the small screen in top children's programs including Cartoon Company, Bushbeat and seven-time Logie award winning Agro's Cartoon Connection. Missouri native Von Smith was most recently seen on Nigel Lythgoe's Opening Act on the E! Network, where he earned the right to open for Lady Gaga on her tour of Australia in 2012.
First introduced to the world when his version of And I Am Telling You (I'm Not going) from Dreamgirls became a sensation on YouTube, Von Smith has garnered a legion of fans and performed on some of the most celebrated stages including ABC's The View, Bravo's The Kathy Griffin Show, BET's 106th and Park, MTV News, VH1's Best Week Ever, E's The Soup, TV Azteca's La Academia (Mexico), Up Junior (China), and American Idol season 8 as one of the top 17 finalists.
When not rocking out on national stages across the country with fellow idol buddies, or performing in front of symphonies conducted by the likes of the late Marvin Hamlisch, Von can be found in the recording studio. He has just completed his first EP, On To Something, available now on ITunes. Keep up with Von at VonSmithOfficial.com.
